Check-In/Check-Out
Check-In is at 4:00 pm
Check-Out is 11:00 am 
Due to the nature of our resort we cannot accommodate late check out. You will receive a text with detailed instructions on how to check in/out. please be sure to include the preferred cell phone number when booking your reservation.
 
Cancelation Policy
- Cancellations will not be accepted by phone
- Cancellations can be made by sending an email to bree@barefootresortbc.com
include your name your reservation was booked under and your Check in date.
- Cancelling your reservation 30 days prior to your scheduled check-in date you will receive a 90% re-fund, (10% is kept for processing fees)
- Cancelling within the 30 days of your check-in date you will receive a 50% refund.

Whats included in your Yurt
-Bedding 
-shower towels (Please bring beach towels)
-dish cloths (we suggest bringing paper towel) 
-dishes, mixing bowl, mugs, cups

-fridge (Studio yurts include a bar fridge, all other units have full fridges)

Pet Policies
Maximum of two dogs per reservation, dogs must be on-leash at all times accept for our off-leash dog beach area (Marked by our BarePaw Beach sign) You may not leave your dog unattended in the yurt for extended periods of time. You will be fined a $100 fee if you fail to clean up after your pet

Parking
Each yurt will be allotted one parking space, we have limited extra parking available at a first come first serve basis located between the yurt village and restaurant 

Smoking Policy
Smoking is not permitted inside the yurts. Smoking is permitted on your deck with yurt doors closed and you are responsible for bring your own ash tray and disposal. Designated smoking areas are posted throughout the property including at the beach. Smoking inside your yurt will result in up-to a $500 fine. please respect your neighbours. 

Alcohol Policy
Alcoholic beverages may only be consumed inside your yurt/RV site. Action will be taken should guests cause a disturbance.  Eviction is at the sole discretion of management and reservation fees will not be refunded. We realize that social drinking is a part of being on holiday but but insist you respect the safety and enjoyment of all guests
          
Beach Access/rules
Currently our beach is set up as a private guests only location. A code will be provided with your check-in package to allow beach access during your stay. fires are not permitted after 11pm. Watercraft is not permitted to pull up and park on the beach. beach pick up/drop off is allowed but must be done past the swim area (near the dog off leash area) No vehicles permitted on the beach. 

Laundry/Beach Towels
In an effort to be eco-conscious we stock your yurt with as many towels as the yurt sleeps (one per person) at the onset of your stay, should you need a refresh during your visit we ask you use our coin operated laundry located on-site, it is $2 per wash and $2 per dry - Loonies only. We do not provide beach towels - please bring your own! 

Quiet Hours
Resort quiet hours are 11:00 pm to 8:00 am. Excessive noise will not be permitted and will result in eviction with forfeit of your reservation fee if ignored after warning is provided by Management. Yurts are not sound proof so loud indoor noise is also not tolerated. 

Yurt windows and dome 
There is a stool provided so you can close the canvas window covers on the outside of your yurt should you need to regulate the yurt temperature or for added privacy. You can also open the dome window at the top of your yurt using the long pole found inside your yurt this allows for a beautiful cross breeze that keeps your yurt nice and cool in the Summer. Please note the dome isn’t screened, if you leave it open this can allow nature inside your yurt. 
 
Firewood and Fires 
Fires on the beach are permitted unless there is a current fire ban. To buy firewood and fire supplies can be found at our on-site mini-mart. Fire pits are first come first serve. no fires inside the resort or yurt village.
